1:00 – LIVE SURGICAL DEMONSTRATION – DR HANNA
On Day Two of the symposium, attendees will observe a live surgical demonstration showcasing a comprehensive, contemporary approach to lower facial aesthetics. The case will feature an osseous genioplasty performed using virtual surgical planning and custom hardware, combined with submentoplasty and submandibular gland excision, as well as buccal fat reduction.
This exercise will highlight the limitations of addressing either the skeleton or the soft tissue in isolation, illustrating why optimal aesthetic outcomes require coordinated hard- and soft-tissue strategies. Throughout the procedure, attendees will be able to ask questions in real time, with the operating surgeon discussing planning decisions, intraoperative judgment, and aesthetic trade-offs as they unfold. The demonstration will directly reinforce concepts presented during multiple lectures and offers a rare, interactive opportunity to see integrated facial aesthetic decision-making applied to the operating room.
